Join Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida for a captivating mixed bill celebrating the works of Sergei Prokofiev and Maurice Ravel. Our program opens with Vladimir Issaev?s excerpts of his internationally acclaimed three-act ballet "The Tale of the Stone Flower," a beautiful narrative of love and perseverance, set to Prokofiev?s enchanting music. Follow the journey of Danila, a stone carver, as he seeks to reveal the stone?s true beauty to the world, overcoming challenges through the power of love. We will also revive Issaev?s "Classic Symphony," a vibrant and dynamic ballet that has become an audience favorite. This production, featuring our entire company, highlights the dancers' technical brilliance and artistic versatility. The program includes "Bolero," choreographed by distinguished guest Miao Zong. Performed to Maurice Ravel?s mesmerizing score, with an addition of Aldemaro Romero?s "Quinta Anauco," this piece blends classical and contemporary elements in a spellbinding performance.
