AVCA First Serve Showcase

Four of the nation's top collegiate volleyball teams-Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, and Wisconsin-will open the 2024 women's season at the AVCA First Serve Showcase on Aug. 27 in Louisville, KY. The doubleheader will take place at the KFC Yum! Center, the same venue where the NCAA DI Women's Volleyball National Championship will be held in December. The first match will feature Nebraska and Kentucky, with the Huskers coming off a 2023 NCAA runner-up finish and the Wildcats having won the national title in the spring of 2021. Wisconsin then plays Louisville in a battle of teams that have both made the NCAA semifinals two times in the last three years.
