Blood, Sweat & Tears are best known for their influence on American rock-jazz through their unique incorporation of a horns section into their tracks. Throughout their 50 continuous years of touring, which has even included playing the same day as Jimi Hendrix at the famed Woodstock, the veteran band has had many configurations, with each member being hand-selected by founding-member Bobby Colomby. Nominated for 10 Grammys resulting in three wins, including beating out Abbey Road for 1970s Album of the Year, iconic tracks like Spinning Wheel, Youve Made Me So Very Happy and When I Die, have endured for decades, with their self-titled album being inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002.
