A shoegaze/indie rock project at its core, The Sewing Club began in the basements of their friends houses in Nashville, TN. The band is young; however, theyve already secured a prominent position in their hometowns vital and burgeoning music community. In just this past year, theyve completed a 60-day tour opening for Arlie across the entire US, and shared the stage with acts like Protomartyr, fanclubwallet, Fleece, Deeper, Otoboke Beaver, Lowertown, headlined Third Mans Blue Room, and more. Earlier this year the band traveled to Asheville to record their debut EP with Alex Farrar of Drop of Sun Studios. On much of their upcoming music, you can hear the bands influence from bands of decades past. Yet, this isnt just a repetition of what weve heard. Instead, its the manifestation of the thriving music community the band has grown up in and loves. The Sewing Club is a band that captures the essence of both the 90s and modernity. Its grungy pop thats sure to get stuck in your head. Screen StarScreen star is a solo project of ex-snooper member Matthew Campbell. Music made from cheap casio synths and plywood guitars. the product of cheap beer, late nights, and a whole lot of nonsense. blending elements of egg punk, synth punk, and garage punk. its high energy, its loud as fuck, and its a blast to see live
