His career has taken him around the world, performing at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Wiener Musikverein, and the Royal Albert Hall. The cimbalom, a Hungarian dulcimer, is a unique Central European instrument with a resonant sound created by striking metal strings with mallets. For tonight's concert, the Auckland Philharmonia has generously provided New Zealand's only full-size concert cimbalom.
