Indy Bard Fest presents Andersen: A Fairy Tale Life

The second opening of the season will be a soaring new musical from local writing duo June and John Clair. After a highly successful run in Topeka, Kansas, they are thrilled to showcase their incredible new story about fame and fantasy to Indianapolis with a cast of local performers. This stunningly beautiful musical tale follows the young life of fairy-tale writer Hans Christian Andersen as he pursues a life of celebrity and imagination on the path to becoming himself. This will be Bard Fest?s first adventure in reimagining classic tales through contemporary music.
