Jake Rosenkalt Quartet ft. Geof Bradfield, Scott Hesse and Clark Sommers

Jake Rosenkalt is one of the leading drummers of his generation, known for his dynamic and expressive playing. He has performed with jazz luminaries such as Kenny Werner, Steve Cardenas, and Harvie S. A recent graduate of the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute, Rosenkalt was mentored by world-class musicians like Danilo Prez, John Patitucci, and Joe Lovano. Upon moving to Chicago after graduation, he quickly established himself in the citys vibrant jazz scene, playing with top artists and earning a reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Rosenkalts latest project brings together some of Chicagos most celebrated improvisational musicians. His band, featuring Geof Bradfield on Saxophone, Scott Hesse on guitar, and Clark Sommers on bass, is set to perform at Evanston SPACE Nov 13th, showcasing the Great American Song Book as well as repertoire falling outside of the traditional jazz idiom.
