Los Angeles based artist, Lola Colette, is not your traditional singer songwriter. Raised in the hills of Laurel Canyon, her musical roots connect deeply to nature, vinyl and the historic lady of the canyon Joni Mitchell. Colette is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and classically trained pianist who weaves pop, rock, and Bossa Nova throughout her original songs all of which are showcased on her debut EP, Loveland. Along with writing, producing and arranging her own demos and playing the majority of the instruments on her songs, Colette works as an art and video director on her music videos. At the age of 22, she has already had a prolific career. In 2022 alone, Colette and her band supported the American leg of Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains Brighten Tour, she then went on to join as keyboardist in Cantrells band on both the European and US tour in 2023. At the start of her career, Colette performed the piano work for Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 at Capitol Records Studios at the age of 12, and went on to perform at age 15 with the London Symphony Orchestra as the solo pianist for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, at Abbey Road studios. Her vocal chops can be heard on Jerry Cantrells album, Brighten, and Adult Swims animated TV shows Gendy Tartokovskys PRIMAL and Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. Colettes performance of Martha and the Vandellas Nowhere to Run and ethereal vocal recordings in the John Wick: Chapter 4 film score and soundtrack album are a fine example of her seasoned musical chops. With the release of her debut EP, Colette traveled to Vancouver to collaborate with director and choreographer, Meisha Lee, production company and career development program PLATFORM on Camera, and 36 young, professional dancers to shoot a stunning music video for the title song Loveland.Colette continues to produce music, collaborate with other artists, and perform live in the LA area while continuing the development of her unique artistic voice.
