La Poem is a South Korean male crossover vocal group, comprising four classically-trained singers: Chaehoon You, Kihun Park, Minseong Jeong, and Sunghoon Choi. Formed in July 2020 through the reality audition TV show "Phantom Singer Season 3," the group has since been performing at a variety of venues. The name "La Poem" is a fusion of the French term "la bohème" and the English word "poem," reflecting the group?s aspiration to create freely expressive, poetic songs that resonate with audiences. La Poem is composed of four classically-trained singers, including two tenors: Chaehoon You, a leggero tenor, and Kihun Park, a spinto tenor. The other members are Minseong Jeong, a baritone, and Sunghoon Choi, a countertenor whose vocal range aligns with that of a female singer, offering a unique sound in the world of male vocal quartets.
