Leland Ko - Cellist, Miami Premier Performance Volksgeist

This young cellist of Canadian Chinese descent is a graduate of Princeton, New England Conservatory, and Juilliard and brings to the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center the music of Kodaly, Bartok, and Bright Sheng, all resplendent with invigorating folk themes. Leland is fascinated with folk music?not just as a link between popular music and classical music but as a bridge between classical musicians and people worldwide.
