BOBBY CHÁVEZ and The Los Angeles Mambo All-Star OrchestraMr. Chavez has worked as a professional arranger and composer, trumpet artist, vocalist and percussionist for over 45 years in the music industry. Musical Director BOBBY CHÁVEZ brings a unique outlook and style to all of his projects. A musical conductor/director for the past 24 years with stints in the U.S. Army Band, he has worked with private schools/universities, studios, and professional contract orchestras across the U.S. Bobby conceptualized a Latin twist to Swingin South, a Rat Pack Show and a Blues Brothers Show with a unique twist. He has directed and led Award winning Big Bands such as , the Jokers Wild Swing Orchestra, Corazon, MIB (Musicians In Black), The San Antonio Mambo All-Star Orchestra and the Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra (LaMasO). His compositions and arrangements represent the truly first class musical standards of Latin Jazz/Mambo. Creating in every genre of music for major entertainment venues worldwide and for the top professionals in the music /show business industry, Bobby Chavez represents excellence. Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra (LaMasO) was conceptualized and formed, from a collective group of top professionals in 2008 at Cal State L.A. at his graduate recital which was based on his thesis Tito Puente and the Mambo. The Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra consist of 23 members from Los Angeles, USA. This unique brand of music fuses genres of Latin rhythms such as Afro-Cuban, Afro Brazilian, and Salsa with Swing, Rock, Classical, and Jazz.
