Morning Melodies: The NZ Artillery Band

This crowd pleaser and returning favourite are performing on Armistice Day in 2024, and will include a moving commemorative segment. Based in Panmure and formed in 1864, The Royal NZ Artillery Band is the oldest military band in New Zealand and was part of the New Zealand Defence Force until the Reserve Bands were disestablished in 2012. However, it has battled on as a volunteer band, re-affiliated to 16th Field Regiment RNZ Artillery, and is happily in good shape, performing a very busy and varied schedule each year throughout Greater Auckland and beyond.
