New Orleans GroovemastersThe New Orleans Groove Masters were created in 2017 for a concert for a performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The concert was a great success and with this enthusiasm a band was born. This band features three master drummers performing on percussion, tambourine, vibraphones, and vocals accompanied by piano, bass, and saxophone.This is an exciting percussion led ensemble, steeped in the traditional drumming and contemporary stylings of New Orleans music. The materials are a collection of original compositions and repertoire from the musical canon of the Crescent City.Tonights masters are Herlin Riley, Jason Marsalis, and some special guests. Two of the most esteemed and veteran performers from New Orleans that have played all over the world. You are in for a real treat. Be ready to groove and dance. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
