Poetry Is Life: Poets Fighting Poverty

This event features local poets fighting poverty by feeding the human spirit through poetry centered around being thankful and kind; and feeding the body by bringing canned goods, boxed food items and hygiene items to be donated to a local social services agency. A local pizza shop will provide pizza for this event. There will also be an open mic after the featured poets.
