Yulia Van Doren, soprano Martha Guth, soprano Daniel McGrew, tenor Capital University Chapel Choir David Danzmayr, conductor Kancheli - Midday Prayers Mendelssohn - Symphony No. 2 "Lobgesang" Joined by the Capital University Chapel Choir and three world-class vocalists, Music Director David Danzmayr leads ProMusica for its first ever performance of Mendelssohn's powerful symphony-cantata, "Lobgesang" ("Hymn of Praise") - the composer's most ambitious symphony achievement. Giya Kancheli's hauntingly beautiful "Midday Prayers" complements this program of both simplicity and glory.
