The St. Petersburg Museum of History is an amazing place to learn about the world's first commercial flight, the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team, and the cultural and economic impact of St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Peninsula. The museum offers different ticket types for adults, seniors, students/teachers, and military/veterans/first-responders. Visitors can explore the history of the first commercial flight with the famous Benoist airboat, trace the evolution of baseball through a collection of 4,800 autographed baseballs, and discover the significant impact of the "Sunshine City" and the Pinellas Peninsula on Florida's history.
