Born of the seeds planted by the acoustic music of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, the Warblers perform roots music with a rock n roll heart. If you were to sit an astute Musicophile stage front they would be quick to note rootsy originals peppered with covers ranging from blues and bluegrass standards to takes on tunes by Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead and many others. All that to say, these four musicians have a great respect for American music but come at it in a non-traditional way.
