Word - The Front Line Grand Slam 2024

Welcome to the Poetry Olympics Tmaki 2024 IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS. Out of hundreds of young poets from across Tmaki Makaurau, the top six high schools are set to share their stories in an explosion of youth expression. WORD - The Front Line showcases Aucklands fiercest poets in the largets event of it's kind in Aotearoa. Featured on The Project Mori Television, RNZ and The Hui WORD - The Front Line is the only creative battlefield of its kind, equipping young people with poetry prowess for an opportunity to battle it out and confront the challenges that their generation faces. Please Note: Recommended 12+ years. Poetry may contain explicit language and adult themes. Parental guidance is recommended. Children aged 14 years and under must be accompanied by a caregiver who attends the event with the child.
